    DJURTUS UNITED is a community-led organisation dedicated to preserving Cape Verdean heritage while
    creating inclusive spaces for people of all ages to connect, stay active, and thrive.

    OUR MISSION

    We are dedicated to preserving and celebrating Cape Verdean heritage while strengthening communities both in the diaspora and in Cape Verde.

    Through cultural storytelling, education, and community engagement, we ensure that traditions, histories, and identities are protected and passed on to future generations.

    We also promote wellbeing and unity through sport—creating inclusive opportunities for young people, women, and adults to stay active, connect, and thrive together.
